The CALFED Bay-Delta Program (CALFED) surface storage investigations represent a new era in surface storage planning, where projects are conceived to support multiple objectives that combine ecosystem restoration and water quality improvements with more traditional purposes of water supply reliability, hydropower, and flood protection.

Initial Economic Evaluation for Plan Formulation Report (2006)

The Initial Economic Evaluation for Plan Formulation Report provides an economic and plan formulation update to decision-makers at the the Bureau of Reclamation and the Office of Management and Budget and identifies conceptually if a project alternative could meet federal interests, and thereby warrant continued federal funding.
