Decision Support

The Decision Support Section is responsible for deploying, operating, and maintaining computer systems that store and process information and geographic data that support the tracking and SEMS-mandated reporting of flood emergencies, flood incidents, and other high-water events during activation of the State-Federal Flood Operations Center in Sacramento and/or the Eureka Flood Center, tracking of non-flood emergencies during activation of the Department Operations Center, and tracking of incidents with potential flood impacts year-round.
