The Aquatic Ecology Section (AES) conducts monitoring, research and retrospective analyses to inform the management, restoration and conservation of the Yolo Bypass floodplain and the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta. 

We are an integral member of the Interagency Ecological Program, a consortium of State and Federal agencies that conducts cooperative ecological investigations to inform and improve the management of the Bay-Delta ecosystem
